| Ask for PDIC CE Unicode English Version |
□投稿者/ SK 1回-(2007/10/20(Sat) 00:40:42)
| I'm looking for a unicode dictionary for pocketpc for a long time.. then I finally found PDIC CE 1.50 and it is so good! Now I can study Japanese/Korean/English within one program with my self made PDIC dictionaries.
However, the Japanese menus and dialogs display uncorrectly on non-Japanese system. Could anyone translate the Japanese menu and dialog to English? I think after that PDIC could be the No.1 dictionary for all global ppc users.
Thanks TaN san.

| By a win32 version of resource hacker, I managed to modify almost all menus and dialogs into English. I also changed the positions of some controls to make it more suitable. I didn't modify the string resource.
It's not easy since there are so many strings. However, I can use it now.
Thanks Mr. TaN.
BTW: 2 remarks: 1) The compression of unicode dictionaries (e.g. Jap-Kor) is not significant. 2) I hope I can change the color of all items.

□U R L/ http://homepage3.nifty.com/TaN/ | Thank you for trying to translate into the English. (and sorry for delayed response)
I have would like to translate PDIC. But there are the many things to do it.
I am developing the new PDIC with targetting the multi language support. I think it is easier than the old one to translate such as many strings.

The older version of PDIC/Unicode has the compression availability only for extended text such as explanation.(yourei in Japanese)
